M:U is a meditation event series running in Central London. If you are curious about meditation but also a little skeptical then it’s been designed just for you! Hopefully it will fit around your life in every way we can think of from locations, timings, session lengths and so on for the events to the accessibility and practical usability of the simple resources we occasionally share in our emails. We scour the web so you don't have to.
There are no secrets as such. Everything you could want to know about meditation is out there already. It’s just a bit of a minefield to navigate and often difficult to connect with for many reasons. We get that and we’re not reinventing the wheel, we’re reinventing the car that goes around it. For now we’ve chosen to keep the website simple, concise and to the point - just like our emails and events.

In a word - no! So much to say on this, but we’ll keep it to just one of our views - we think sometimes the “wellness industry” is overly prescriptive. Be a nice person, have compassion, workout this way, eat that new superfood of the month, it’s a crime to eat meat / dairy / children… etc etc. Ok one of those might actually be a crime (oops!). The intentions are often good but it can also come across a little bit patronising, to say the least.
We’ll never tell you what we think you should be like, because that’s up to you. We do reserve the right to smile though :). Tools like meditation will undoubtedly help you to be you more effectively whether that’s by dropping some stress, sharpening your edge or simply reconnecting to feeling good. We’ll help you access these amazing practices, highlight some of the science that supports them and leave you with practical takeaways that you can use in your day to day life.
